Riverwalk Plaza is located in Moore, Oklahoma. The retail development includes a 128,000 sf retail shopping center as well as four pad sites, totaling 140,000 sf. The property is located approximately one-half mile north of SW 34th Street and one-half mile south of SW 19th Street on the west-side of Interstate Highway 35. The site is an irregular shaped parcel that has 167 feet of frontage on the west-side of Interstate 35 and 937 feet of frontage on the east-side of Telephone Road with good exposure to both roadways. The site is immediately south of the Riverwalk South Retail Development, adjacent to Gordman’s and Kohl’s. Other local developments located in Riverwalk include a LaQuinta Hotel, IHOP, Earl’s BBQ, Buffalo Wild Wings, Office Depot and numerous other retail stores. One-half mile north at the intersection of SW 19th Street and Telephone Road is a Super Wal-Mart, Home Depot, Lowes, Chili’s and Starbucks. The twenty screen Warren Theatre movie complex is under construction near the intersection. On the east-side of Interstate 35, existing and proposed tenants include JC Penney, Ross and PetsMart.

The city of Moore is a suburb of Oklahoma City. It is located about eight miles south of the Central Business District and eight miles north of Norman, Oklahoma, home of the University of Oklahoma. The Riverwalk concept was created in order to take advantage of the small river that runs through the area.  The city of Moore feels that this appealing feature will attract new retailers. As a result of this strategy, this area is enjoying a prosperity that they have not experienced before. Moore is experiencing a significant increase in retail traffic and is drawing numerous shoppers from outside of its city limits. The fast growing area west of the city has good demographics, and these residents are doing a significant amount of shopping in Moore.
