Golfsmith signs long-term lease at Woodpark Plaza
NDC Capital Partners, LLC announced the signing of a long-term lease with Golfsmith International at Woodpark Plaza, a co-investment with Eagle Equity, Inc. Woodpark Plaza, a retail shopping center, is located adjacent to The Woodlands, Houston’s largest master-planned community, with direct frontage on Interstate 45. Since acquisition, the value-add investment strategy has been centered on repositioning of the center through successful re-leasing of the vacant space. Golfsmith now occupies 27% of the center’s total square footage and their lease signing breaks the center’s dependence on the home furnishings industry, which has been hit hard during the downturn in the economy. Golfsmith gives the center a national retail presence, while also providing diversification from the existing tenant base.
